新年明けましておめでとうございます。
今年もよろしくお願いします。

Shinnen akemashite, omedetoh gozaimasu.
Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegaishimasu.

Formal translation:
A new year has begun, congratulations.
Again this year I beg your indulgence.

This is what it really means nowadays:
Happy New Year.
Hope we can enjoy another good year together.
